One of the ways Maura and I keep in touch while she’s away at school is through online shopping. Just last night she sent me a link to a $400 dress neither of us will ever wear just to let me know she was thinking of me — how thoughtful! We often joke that the only hobby we have in common is going to the mall, and we’ve spent so many visits to each other and to home on shopping sprees. So to ring in December, I thought we’d share some of our recent finds. Whether you’re in the market for a $500 picnic basket (girls can dream, right?) or not, we hope these items inspire your shopping this month. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!!! ✨ 🛒 🛍️ 💕

When I worked in an Art Gallery in San Francisco, my two best friends and I met at the Redwood Room for martinis before an imaginary $10,000 shopping spree. Guess who managed to spend ALL her 10 Grand in one store? Oui... that sparkling sequined gown, fur hat, and jewelry put me over the top. Those were the days... 1985. Thanks for the memories!
I’m liking the picnic basket. Hoping you both get everything you want.
