The best bake ever: The first time I made this cake, my dad said it was the best thing I’ve ever baked. Summer in a round pan.
La butte to die on: Poured this by the glass over the weekend at work. I prefer it with a slight chill. A near perfect wine to me and my tastebuds. I opened their Pineau d’Aunis last night. Dare I say it’s even better…
By the Region: Seriously so stoked that this week’s article was so well received. I was scared to hit publish because I was nervous I might have skimmed over some important detail on Baja. I love diving deep into a region I don’t know too well. Last month I did Jura.
Something to sip on: I made a shrub with the plethora of celery I got in my CSA bag last week. Always in pursuit of Dr. Brown’s celery soda.
Almost Friday: Pizza for dinner on Fridays (after our Irish dance classes, of course) was how my family welcomed the weekend when I was younger. Last night I whipped up a batch of dough from The Joy of Cooking and topped them simply: tomatoes, anchovies & basil and potato, pesto & burrata.
